- Directs, leads, and supervise all staff in HSE department to achieve department goals in support of business goals and operational safety. - Manage and ensure timely and accurate update company’s health and safety records data (e.g. RHS) - Initiates and implementation HSE programs, processes and strategies in the plant. (i.e. conducting of emergency drills, industrial hygiene programs, hazard observations, Hazard and Risk Assessment, Safety inspections) - Monitor and conduct waste stream management and Ergonomics in workplace - Conduct safety training as and when necessary - Coordinates the delivery of HSE products and services to operations and Facility personnel, - Interface and negotiates with regulatory bodies, clients and subcontractors for HSE related issues for any ad hoc projects in the plant - In charge of budgetary activities for the department
Required Skills/Experience :
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any field. - At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position, preferably in the oil and gas/manufacturing industries. - Must possess a good track record and extensive knowledge in leadership roles to apply and execute HSE management systems in compliance to local statutory health, safety and environmental regulatory requirements - Must have strong and effective oral and written communication and organizational skills and leadership qualities to make presentations and participate in conferences and industry associations. - Initiates improvement to current HSE system when necessary in compliance to local statutory and corporate requirements.

MUST be a registered safety officer registered with Ministry of Manpower
