Reporting directly to the Manager Marine Assurance this exciting role provides support to both trading and chartering functions by offering timely, accurate advice on marine and vessel clearance issues.
Working as part of a high performing team you will :
• Process clearance / vetting requests for ships • Update port / vessel information systems • Provide feedback on casualty / terminal assessments • Assess SIRE inspection reports and liaise with operators on observations • Act as a direct point of contact for third party vetting / assurance matters
The person :
We are looking for a candidate with a strong, recent tanker background.
The right person must have the drive and ambition to be committed to best practice principles and be able to differentiate from statutory compliance in terms of QA matters.
You will need clear communication skills to manage a diverse array of relationships and possess the ability to analyse information and recognise when more detail is required.
Candidates must possess the immediate right to live and work in the European Economic Area (EEA).
